This is a short article that shows how confounded the psychiatric industry is when it comes to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Many professionals are finding what doesn't work. They are still pretty far from what does work, though. Here are a couple excerpts that emphasize what I mean:
"PTSD robs you of everything you have — happiness, a social life, going to the movies, restaurants"
"The key is that he's confronting his fears and anxieties and not trying to bury them, she added."
This is a key point which should be recognized as true by anyone suffering with PTSD. The simple question they do not answer: how?
"'It's not something that goes away,' said Susan Hollenbeck, a licensed clinical social worker who is helping the Pearsons. 'There's no cure for it.'"
Not true. There is a definite cure, which we will delve into in future articles...
